Harwinton Ambulance is offering a hybrid EMR and EMT course with open enrollment throughout the year. This hybrid course provides a blend of online, self-paced learning with required in-person components.
What to Expect
Expect to cover knowledge through online modules, including topics like anatomy, patient assessment, and medical emergencies. The self-paced component offers flexibility, while requiring monthly check-ins at Harwinton Ambulance. These will be crucial for hands-on skills practice, practical assessments, and direct interaction with instructors. These sessions will reinforce online learning and ensure you meet the necessary practical competency standards.
Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age

Good health and able to perform the physical duties of an EMT. Participants may need to provide a certification of health and vaccine history from a physician for some clinical sites.

Pricing
Harwinton Ambulance offers reimbursement for the cost of the course upon successful completion of both the course and field training. To qualify, participants must become a member and commit to a one year service agreement after being cleared.
